The projects submitted by Uzhgorod residents under the "Public Budget," which won in online and "paper" vote, were announced recently at the meeting of employees of different structural units of the city council, deputies, public activists.
Recall that the "Public Budget" for development projects, improvements in the city’s infrastructure was introduced for the first time, and at the session of the City Council, it was decided to allocate UAH 3.5 million from the city budget to finance its implementation.
During a month, Uzhgorod residents were voting for their favorite projects out of more than seven dozen submissions. The count of votes for each of the projects took place on December 27.
Thus, they chose 8 large and 24 small projects that are listed in the table below.
Next, it is planned to determine the structural units of Uzhgorod city council that will be commissioners of the projects, city programs, that the projects will be included to, then design and estimate documentation will be developed, contractors will be determined, necessary procurements will be carried out in accordance with the prescribed procedures, etc.
By the way, one of the 24 small winning projects is "1930 hydrant – Uzhgorod calling card", which was supported by many Uzhgorod residents.
