Proceeds to the budget from simplified taxation system taxpayers tripled

Proceeds of the single tax on individuals – business entities for 10 months in 2012 totaled over 2.9 billion hryvnias.

According to the State Tax Service (STS) it is three times more than the corresponding figures of the previous year, when proceeds from this category of taxpayers accounted for more than 968 million hryvnias.

According to STS, since 2012 more than 1 million businesses have switched to the simplified system of taxation, accounting and reporting.

"Many of them were not on the simplified system in 2011. But the new rules (distribution by groups, revenues up to 3 million hryvnias, the possibility of VAT registration, etc.) gave them the opportunity to quickly and easily switch to single tax. Due to this, the number of simplified taxation system taxpayers have increased by more than 200 thousand people," – stated the STS.

As of November 1, 2012 in Ukraine there were 1.26 million individuals – entrepreneurs who had chosen simplified taxation system. Thus, 291 thousand persons (23% of the total number) chose the first group, 725 thousand persons (58%) – the second group, and 244 thousand persons (19.4%) – the third group.
