On Thursday, August 8, the Regional Council working group established by the order of the Chairman Ivan Baloha visited some localities in Khust district, in order to study the problems of local communities. First of all representatives of the working group, which included the manager of the regional council executive staff Mykhailo Popovich, Khust district council chairman Vasyl Hubal, representatives of the staff visited the village of Lypovets. Here, since the last year in cooperation with the Czech Vysocina, they have been renovating the general practice clinic. The building was erected in 1977 and since then the repairs have not been carried out. The total area of the institution is almost two hundred square meters. The reconstruction began last year. In general, Czechs via the Charitable Foundation "Viza" allocated 350,000, another 275,000 were added from the regional budget, 35,000 – from the Village Council. They have replaced the roof, windows, doors, paved internal wiring, and carry out internal finishing work. The village head Ivan Hubal said that the clinic opens in September.
The next village, which was visited by representatives of the working group, is Kopashnevo. This is one of the largest village councils in the region and is home to more than five thousand residents. Last year, with the assistance of the deputy from this constituency they began repairing latrines. This year the repairs are expected to be completed. The most painful problem for the village is the lack of seats in kindergarten, – the head of Khust District Council Vasyl Hubal says. As an option they suggest to convert former school hostel into kindergarten. In 2011, they developed the construction documents, the total cost of the work is around four million hryvnias. The opening of the institution will alleviate problems of preschool education in Kopashnevo.
In Danylovo, the working group studied the problem of school and pre-school education.
The working group also visited the local school where the last academic year, 188 students were enrolled. This year, 16 new students will go to the school, and every year the number of students increases. The building was built forty years ago, and now there is a need to replace the windows and heating system.
