Terms of use of cars registered abroad allowed enterprising Transcarpathians to quickly master car markets in neighboring countries. Today, the streets of Uzhgorod are full of cars with Slovak, Hungarian llicense plates.
However, Ukrainian patriotism does not go beyond economic sense. This may probably explain yellow-blue flags on cars with foreign license plates.
This makes this car, which can often be seen on the streets of Uzhgorod, especially puzzling. The explanation of the origin of the banner and the organization it represents can be found in the open network Wikipedia: Association of Rusyn organizations in Transcarpathia "Soim of Subcarpathian Rusyns" is a Rusyn separatist organization in Transcarpathian region. They demand recognition of Rusyns as a separate nation and granting of autonomy to Transcarpathia with the rights of 1938.It is known for separatist declarations, for which its leaders were sentenced to several years of imprisonment for encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine. According to some media, it is funded by Russian government agencies to destabilize the situation in Transcarpathia.
Considering the above: are all components of this problem unknown, or are some of them in fact very clear?
