Prices for some medical services in Uzhgorod will increase

The members of the executive committee approved the tariffs for paid medical examinations provided by the Uzhgorod City Polyclinic.

Those are medical examinations to be passed by workers of certain categories and students prior to practical training (also for certain categories).

According to the decision, the privileged categories of the population, which are defined by the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection", shall be exempted from payment for the specified medical services.

The last time the tariffs for these services were revised was in 2012.

The increase in the cost of certain medical services is primarily due to the increase of minimum wages and energy prices.
