Pre-trial restraint was imposed on the inhabitant of Rakhiv suspected of a fatal road accident, – prosecutor’s office

"Based on the arguements of the head of the Rakhiv department of the Tyachiv local prosecutor’s office, the suspect in the commission of those crimes was remanded in custody without the possibility of bail," – the spokeswoman said.

Recall that in the beginning of November, the 42-year-old inhabitant of Rakhiv, driving a car in a drunk state, hit a local resident. The witnesses of the accident reported that after the crime, the driver had fled the scene. The 48-year-old victim died on the spot.

In the pre-trial investigation, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
