The article in the newspaper "Uzhgorod" about benches on Petofi square is not too interesting only at first glance. Yes, we know that Petofi square has become not just "more pedestrian" but also somewhat "improved". But Uzhgorod resident Yaroslav Kozich, posting a photocopy of the article in his facebook, raises an interesting question: "Who really set the benches on Petofi Square? Does Uzhgorod City Council appropriate other people’s achievements? Whom do Uzhgorod residents really have to thank to?".
It turned out that in the article they modestly remembered those who have improved Petofi square at their expense – in fact it was not done at the expense of the city budget! Well, the citizens, who now take a rest sitting on the square, know who contributed to the improvement. But there is another question – why do city officials on every corner brag about this achievement? ..
