Poroshenko said when the hryvnia exchange rate would stabilize

The President Poroshenko said that the hryvnia rate would strengthen immediately after signing of an agreement with the IMF.

He said that at the press conference on Monday

"I think that the rate of 17-18-19 UAH does not reflect the real value of the national currency. There is a significant panic component here. It must be stopped. It will be stopped immediately after signing of an agreement with the IMF, when we have significant inflow to international reserves," – he said.

"Then investors will have more trust in Ukraine. It will also be facilitated by the package of legislative initiatives and the budget, which was adopted yesterday in the Parliament during thorough discussion where both parties – the government and the parliamentary coalition that formed this government – can hear each other," – he said.
