Poroshenko’s party wants to adapt state standards to the European market

The parliamentary coalition should provide conditions for free international trade and the removal of indirect technical barriers to export of Ukrainian products to the European Union.

This is stated in the draft coalition agreement proposed for discussion by the the political party "Petro Poroshenko Block", the UNIAN reported.

According to the document, the coalition will be able to achieve these goals if the Ukrainian system of technical regulations is brought in line with EU requirements.

For this, the parliament and the government should create an independent bodies for standardization and metrology, develop and implement technical regulations based on the guidelines of the New and Global Approach, develop and adopt national standards, adapted to the requirements of the EU.

In addition, under these objectives, the coalition must implement a system of regulation and state control over food safety, ensure the implementation of HACCP at Ukrainian enterprises.

Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko proposes to insure the risks of exporters in entering foreign markets.
