Uzhgorod police solved two property crimes, the victims of which were residents of the regional center.
One of the detainees is suspected of stealing a mobile phone. A 42-year-old Uzhgorod resident reported the theft to law enforcement officers. The woman said that her daughter’s phone had been stolen from a locker in the sports complex. The employees of the criminal police department managed to quickly identify the person involved in the crime. It was a 23-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, who was previously convicted for robbery. The man gave evidence. The investigation within a criminal proceeding under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine continues.
The other detainee is a 26-year-old resident of the regional center. The man previously convicted for theft and fraud is suspected of stealing three external surveillance cameras from a house on Shvabska street in Uzhgorod.
It took less than a day for the criminal police department officers to identify and detain the thief.
Investigators of Uzhgorod Police Department are determining all the circumstances of the case.
