In Uzhgorod, activists and candidates for deputies of the City Council picketed in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office in Transcarpathian region.
The picketers protested against, as they put it, the police inaction regarding violations and bribery during the elections on October 25 in Uzhgorod.
The chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office in Transcarpathian region Colonel Serhiy Knyazev came out to the protesters, he said that the police was acting strictly within their powers.
Then the activists marched to the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal who headed the list of the BPP "Solidarnist" at these elections.
During the meeting with Hennadiy Moskal, the protesters, representatives of various parties, including the BPP "Solidarnist" accused Hennadiy Moskal of having conceded violations during the elections and the victory of former Party of Regions members at the elections. Hennadiy Moskal said that he influenced neither the electoral process nor the work of the police.
