Police quickly caught a 13-year-old and a 19-year-old criminals, who were robbing Uzhgorod resdients in the streets

Uzhgorod law enforcement officers identified the robbers, one of whom is a minor. The suspects openly seized the property of two men who temporarily live in the regional center. Investigations into the robberies have begun

A resident of the Luhansk region reported a robbery to the Uzhgorod police department. The applicant stated that two unknown persons had openly seized his mobile phone and almost 3 thousand hryvnias.

As the law-enforcers found out, the victim had met with two Uzhgorod citizens who had robbed him.

After receiving a description of the robbers’ appearances, the officers of the Uzhgorod police department identified the persons involved in the robbery. They were two locals aged 13 and 19 years old. Both have already been prosecuted for committing property crimes.

A similar statement was filed to law-enforcers by a friend of the victim, who had been robbed by one of the suspects in the case. The 19-year-old resident of Uzhgorod hit the man to the head and robbed him of money and a mobile phone.

The police opened criminal proceedings over both robberies under part 2 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is ongoing. Currently, measures are being taken to find the stolen mobile phones.
