Police have detained a resident of Mukachevo who beat his grandmother

A resident of Mukachevo, whose has repeatedly been prosecuted for domestic violence, beat his grandmother. The investigator of Mukachevo department opened a criminal proceeding for battery

The neighbors of the victim called the police. The citizens reported that the grandson of a woman living next door often abuses alcohol and starts fights. 
After beating, the 84-year-old pensioner was hospitalized with numerous face and body bruises. 
Officers of the Mukachevo police department opened a criminal proceeding over battery under Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The preliminary inquiry is ongoing.
