Police detained two thieves in Uzhgorod

Officers of Uzhgorod Police Department identified a man and a woman who were involved in two thefts in the regional center 
This was reported by the communications department of the Transcarpathian regional police. 
Criminal police officers solved a theft at the market on Lehotsky street in Uzhgorod. A shop assistant’s cellphone was stolen from the counter. Law enforcement agencies found out that a 36-year-old previously convicted local resident was involved in the theft. The woman has already been questioned. Criminal proceedings were opened on the grounds of Part 1 of Article 185 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the investigation in the case is ongoing.  
A theft from a beauty store was solved by district police officers. 1,800 UAH worth of perfumes was stolen from the premises of the shop. The police found out that the crime had been committed by a 48-year-old resident of the village of Solomonovo, Uzhgorod district.  
Investigators initiated criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Art. 185 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
