Poland has allocated 170 thousand euros for the treatment of 40 Ukrainian soldiers

The Polish government has allocated 700 thousand zlotys (about 170 thousand euros) for the treatment of Ukrainian soldiers, who were wounded during the fighting in the Donbass, in Poland.

More than 40 soldiers have been admitted in Polish hospitals, the Polish Radio reported.

The wounded soldiers are being treated in hospitals in Wroclaw, Krakow and Lublin. Some of them are on rehabilitation in Lądek-Zdrój in Lower Silesia Province.

As previously noted by the Minister of National Defence Tomasz Syemonyak, the Polish government is looking for various opportunities to support Ukrainian military.

"In addition to the Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian brigade and the fact that 40 Ukrainian soldiers with injuries are being treated our hospitals, 33 Ukrainian officers are also being trained our universities" – he said.
