After the report of a bomb in Uzhgorod city council (again!), the mayor Victor Pogorelov continued the session and would not let anyone out of the hall. Deputies would not leave their seats, as they say, boundless love of money overcame the fear of explosion. They were shaking, but voting.
Well, Victor Pogorelov finally got his way: deputies voted for a package of all privatization decisions. Neither words of some deputies, nor reports of bomb threats, nor the need to leave the room stopped them.
Then Pogorelov said: until the decisions are adopted, nobody leaves the room. And then, all 35 deputies voted for the decisions on the agenda in a package.
Those are draft decisions 1902, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1870, 1763, 1764, 1760, 1765, 1766, 1767, 1759, 1770, 1771, 1769. All concern land privatization.
.
They voted with flagrant breach of the regulations.
Well, a farewell ("farewell"?) carve-up did happen…
After adopting the decision, due to the report of bomb threat, Pogorelov adjourned the session. Rescuers are looking for explosives in the building.
