Pogorelov will distribute half a million from the city treasury

The Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov instructed his staff to develop a program of additional guarantees for social protection in 2014.

A year before the election, the mayor wants to allocate from the city treasury almost half a million for the subscription of periodicals and for organization of celebrations for the participants of significant events and memorable dates with participation of the City Council, for the postage expenses and purchase of food packages for the poor, disabled and lonely senior citizens. 35,000 UAH will be allocated for the subscription of publications, including the local newspaper "Uzhgorod", 236,000 UAH will be distributed by the mayor as financial assistance to non-working citizens. The remaining amount will be spent on the purchase of spa vouchers and on funeral services.
