In Uzhgorod, they have established a temporary commission that will study whether the land is used efficiently in the city, how many spontaneous developers have violated the land legislation, and how many sites are not used by owners.
According to the order of the Mayor, the commission was established "to ensure the rational and intended use of land by legal entities and individuals, detection of squatted or illegally built-up sites, stricter control over the planning and development of the city, payments to the municipal budget for the land, full and comprehensive review of the appeals on these issues."
The head of the commission will be the Mayor Victor Pogorelov himself.
