Plastic bottles will be pressed at the National Park “Synevyr” (PHOTOS)

100 years is the time for a PET bottle to decompose in nature. It is perhaps the most common pollutant in our region. In order to finally come to the solution of this problem, 2 presses have been installed at the National Park "Synevyr". On the initiative of the head of the Mizhhirya District State Administration Vasyl Khudynets and the chairman of the Kolochava village council, Yuriy Klivrts, business relations with Hungarian investors have been established, so now there is a possibility to reduce the amount of waste released into the environment.

In order to press PET bottles, they must first be sorted according to size and color. Then, pressing and packaging. The bottles will then be sent for recycling. Caps are packed separately.

 This is a good start on the path to clean our region. They plan to establish PET bottle collection points in all settlements of the Tereblya valley of Mizhhirya district and send them for pressing.

Currently, the management of the National Park "Synevyr" is urging local residents and tourists to avoid unnecessary packaging and do not throw garbage into natural environment.
