Places of interest in Transcarpathia: “Old oak” and “Champion oak” – the oldest oaks in Ukraine (VIDEO)

The trees in the village of Stuzhytsia, Velyky Berezny district, are more than 1,200 years old.
 They are on the list of natural monuments "Uzhok valley – TOP 30 unique places".
 Features of the "Champion":
 Trunk circumference – 9.6 m, diameter – 3.0 m, height – more than 25 m.
 Age – 1300 years.
 Features of the "Old oak":
 The circumference of the trunk – 9.1 m, diameter – 3.0 m, height – more than 30 m.
 Age – 1100-1200 years.
 Jules Verne wrote in letters that he had visited at the site of the fall of the Knyahynya meteorite and surveyed the area. Possibly, he took a rest under these amazing oaks.
