Petya.A is paralyzing the work of banks, companies and media: Ukraine suffers from a hacker attack

The so-called computer virus Petya.A has paralyzed the work of the Nova Poshta, Oshchadbank, power companies, the Cabinet and many other institutions. The cyberpolice currently has reported about 22 attacked organizations, the Mukachevo.net informed.

Some services of the above organizations and companies may be temporarily unavailable.

Victims of the cyber attack are the Oshchadbank, the Nova Poshta services, computers of the Cabinet, the media holding TRK "Lux", which includes "Channel 24", the TV channel ATR, "Kyivenergo", "UE", Ukrposhta, Ukrtelecom. 

The director of the airport "Borispol" Pavlo Ryabikin reported that the flight schedule is temporarily unavailable due to the cyber attack.  

The hackers paralyzed the work of the OTP Bank, DTEK companies, Tsentrenergo, Novus, Fozzy group, Datagroup, Astelit.

The "Ukrgasdobycha" and the Naftogaz of Ukraine PJSC also reported about cyber attacks.
