Petro Sholtes will start the exhibition year in the regional art museum

Tomorrow, January 15, in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, the will be the opening of the exhibition of famous regional artist Petro Sholtes. 
The exhibition is dedicated to the 70th anniversary, which the artist celebrated last year, but due to busy schedule of events in the museum, the exhibition had to be postponed until now. The exhibition is retrospective, so it will introduce visitor to different periods of the author. In total, 80 paintings and graphic works will be presented, mainly portraits and urban landscapes characteristic for the master.

Petro Sholtes was born Oct. 14, 1945 in Uzhgorod. 
In 1965 he graduated from Uzhgorod College of Applied Arts. 
Since 1985, he has been an active participant in exhibitions and plein airs in Ukraine and abroad, the author of several personal exhibitions. 
Since 1995, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
