On Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 16.00, the exhibition of Pavlo Marynets "Life Goes On…" will be opened in the exhibition hall of the museum. The talented young artist will present icons, portraits, still lifes and landscapes.
Pavlo Marynets was born in June 1991 in the village of Kostylivka in Rakhiv district.
In 2010, he graduated from the Mukachevo Trade and Economics College with honors, in 2012 – Lviv Commercial Academy.
In 2016 he graduated from the Transcarpathian Artistic Institute in Uzhgorod majoring in "Fine Arts" (specialty "Painting").
He began painting icons in 2012.
The first works of the artist were "The Virgin" and "Savior". He has created iconostasis and church paintings in the temples of Transcarpathia and the Czech Republic.
In addition to iconography, the artist paints portraits, still lifes, landscapes. The artist sincerely admires the beauty of the native land and this love is conveyed in the images of people, nature, landscapes.
He has participated in regional and national exhibitions and plein airs in Kolomyia, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, as well as international plein airs.
The works of the artist are presented in the book "Artists of Transcarpathian Hutsul Land" by Yu. Bendak and O. Maslyanik.
The author’s works can be found in private collections in Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, Russia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
