People reponsible for tree trimming on Pravoslavna embankment in Uzhgorod will be brought to justice – the city council

On March 11, 2019, Uzhgorod City Council received a statement from the director of the Uzhgorod Trade and Economic Institute of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics on the sanitary trimming of trees on the territory of the institute at Pravoslavna embankment, 21.

According to the survey of the green plantations, the Municipal Economy Department of Uzhgorod City Council approved the molding trimming of 5 chestnuts, 4 maples, 2 limes and the removal of one maple tree.

Today, April 3, after the posts on the Internet, employees of the Uzhgorod City Council went to Pravoslavna embankment, where they found out that topping of the trees had been carried out, which was not provided for by the permit documents.

The mayor Bohdan Andriyiv ordered to conduct an inspection and take measures to bring the perpetrators to justice.
