Pensions in Ukraine will be indexed on April 1st: who will receive more (INFOGRAPHIC)

Back on April 1, the government adopted a package of measures to support Ukrainian pensioners during the economic crisis caused by the pandemic.

According to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna, one of these measures is pension indexation to be held in May in accordance with the pension legislation.

"First of all, 8.4 million pensioners will receive increased pensions," – the minister said.

Pension payments will be indexed at 11%, and the amount of the pension will increase by an average of 260 UAH.

In addition, the minimum pension will be increased to UAH 2100 for people who have 30 years of work experince for women and 35 – for men.
