November 11, as part of the Road Safety Week, Perechyn police conducted the "Pedestrian" campaign, explaining the students of Perechyn district schools the need to be conscious citizens and understand the responsibility for their actions.
First, they held with students of secondary schools of the district the conversation on "Learning the traffic rules." After that, with the necessary theoretical knowledge luggage, all together they went to streets to master the necessary skills and knowledge, and to explain citizens the necessity to follow the rules for pedestrians – Myroslava Pekar, Perechyn District Police reported.
To do this, two schoolgirls went on the sidewalk near the information sign "Pedestrian crossing" and together with the traffic inspector Fedir Huley watched how many pedestrians would break the rules and try to cross the street in the wrong place, ignoring the information sign.
The head of the traffic police department of Perechyn district police Mykhhailo Betsa urges all road users to be vigilant on the road, careful and prudent. "Your life and health is in your hands" – Mykhailo Betsa said.
