The other day, students of the Art Department of Uzhgorod Children’s School of Arts took part in the contest "Children Drawing Peace" held in the Czech House. The winners received sweet gifts, and traditionally all 22 artworks presented at the competition will be sent to the soldiers of the 128th Brigade.
Uzhgorod Children’s School of Arts (director Natalia Gromova) and the Transcarpathian Society of Czech Culture headed by Tetyana Serhiyenko have had five years of fruitful cooperation. It started with thematic exhibitions – "Uzhgorod during the Czechoslovak Republic", Christmas and Easter exhibitions, which were displayed in the exhibition hall of the Center for National Minorities Cultures, and three years ago, student works were also displayed in the Transcarpathian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
