Payments for gas and electricity are controlled

The issue of settlements for electricity and natural gas in the region for 8 months in 2015 was considered at the meeting of the regional commission chaired by the deputy head Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Mykhailo Rivis.

It was noted that the level of payment for consumed electricity during this period is 100.0%. In particular, households paid off at 99.7%, local government institutions – at 99.7%, housing enterprises – at 90.0%, industry – at 102.2%.

As informed by the acting director of the Department of Housing, Construction and Ifrastructure of the Regional State Administration Eduard Malyar, as of September 1, the largest debtors for electricity are housing and communal enterprises of the region. Thus, the debt amounts to UAH 21.6 million, including debts of water supply companies amounting to UAH 21.5 million. 

Also it was noted that this year, the debt for consumed electricity amounting to UAH 4 million has been repaid at the expense of subventions from the state budget to local budgets for repayment of the difference in tariffs for thermal energy, water supply and sanitation.

In addition, the commission considered the issue of payments for gas.  In January-August, the level of payment for the consumed gas under contracts with the "Zakarpataz" PJSC is 91.5%. In particular: households – 90.6%, state government institutions – 88.9%, regional government institutions – 99.5%, local government institutions – 98,5%. Communal heating enterprises provided full payment for the consumed natural gas.

Following the meeting, Mykhailo Rivis instructed the heads of the RSA structural subdivisions to ensure full payment for the consumed energy and to take all possible measures to repay debts for the energy consumed in prior periods. And also, to promptly conclude agreements between public sector entities with defined certified supplier of natural gas for the supply natural gas in order to start the heating season in time.
