Pavlo Dvorsky and the group “Selyski Hudaki” will perform at the festival in Kolochava

The Village of Museums invites everyone on Sunday, August 4, to the festival of Transcarpathian tunes, ethnographic traditions, outlaw romance

Every year, on the first Sunday of August, one of the most famous villages of Transcarpathia gathers many visitors and tourists. On August 4, 2013, the Ethnographic Festival of Ukrainian-Czech-Slovak friendship "Kolochava Echo of Tereblya Valley" will take place for the 17th time! The idea of the head of the Museum of Czech writer Ivan Olbracht, Natalia Tumarets to arrange a spectacular event in the native village has rooted well and already given good results. The date was chosen not randomly – August 16, 1921 was the day of death of known Kolochava opryshok, the protagonist of the I.Olbracht’s novel, Mykola Shuhay.

According to the organizers of the festival, Kolochava village council, the festival will be attended by Czech diplomats, regional and district managers, management of the "Synevyr" National Park, local community organizations and businesses.

The celebration will be attended by amateur groups of Kolochava village, Semila town (Czech Republic) and known in Transcarpathia band "Selyski Hudaki." Special guest of the festival – People’s Artist of Ukraine Pavlo Dvorsky.

The beginning is at 15.00

The location – center of the village, Kolochava school number 1.
