As uzhgorod.in previously reported, the reconstruction of the Shvabska street continues, and during the road works the street pavement, laid back in the time of Czechoslovakia, was removed.
Earlier Uzhgorod mayor reported that it would be stored near the Philharmonic, and would be used to pave the downtown.
Recently Mayor Victor Pogorelov said that ashlar would be used for paving sidewalks on Shvabska street.
For now the pavement "settled" on the parking lot on the Hoyda street, which is said to belong to the family of Pogorelov.
Everyone is interested in the fate of this stone, because "Czech checker" is one of the trademarks of the city. Well, uzhgorod.in will certainly be checking how the Uzhgorod pavement will be used.
