Patrol policemen tightened the control of vehicles used for the transportation of people

Thus, today, inspectors of the patrol police in Transcarpathian region have checked 1588 thousand buses, including 217 buses used for the transportation of organized groups of children. The inspectors found 117 offenses.

During the checks, most of the found violations were related to the rules of transportation, provision of services and passenger safety requirements.

There were also the following violations:
– violation of the requirements of road signs and of the roadway marking – 23;
– driving buses which have not undergone the mandatory technical control – 16;
– driving buses without appropriate documents – 11;
– transportation of passengers by a driver, who has not undergone preliminary medical examination or without preliminary control of the vehicle technical condition – 10;
– transportation of passengers in excess of the allowed number – 7;
– deviation from the specified route, failure to stop at the bus station – 4;

The police penalized 2 officials for the clearence of vehicles, the technical condition of which does not meet the requirements or without the necessary documents.
