Patrol policemen detained a man who was beating a woman and a small child

On Sunday November 13, about 12 pm, Uzhgorod Patrol Police received a call to Zahorska street. The report stated that in an apartment a man was beating a woman.

Quickly reaching the scene, the policemen found the victim. The 34-year-old woman told law enforcement officers that her partner had beaten her and her young son and threatened them with a knife.

Having interviewed neighbors and the victim, the policemen received the description and possible location of the offender. In a short time, patrol policemen managed to find and detain the man. The man had signs of intoxication. The state of intoxication was confirmed by the conclusion of a doctor of the regional drug clinic. The man was taken to the police station to give explanations to investigators.

There were signs of a crime in the offender’s actions. Investigators have taken up the case.
