“Party” in the Uzhgorod pre-trial detention center: the head of the regional state administration asked to remove the head of the center from office

Representatives of the regional prosecutor’s office assured that an official investigation was being carried out over the incident, and also criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine had been registered.

Oleksiy Petrov also asked the law enforcement officers to consider professional aptitude of the head of the institution, and also his removal from office for the period of investigation, the website of the city of Uzhgorod reported.
