Part of Uzhgorod may remain without electricity supply due to the works on Kapitulna street

Electricians are working on a high-voltage line in a 39-degree heat. If they don’t finish, half of the city may remain without electricity. Today, residents of Kapitulna street near the cathedral, called the hotline of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" to inform that there was no power there, the pershij.com.ua informs.  After that, the operator switched the power to reserve cable and sent technicians at the address, where they are looking for breakage using a special indicator. They have been working there since morning. The men said that they had digged the hole manually, because the historical center is a special place, and caution is needed there. They work regardless of weather conditions, time of day and holidays. They say that the line fails often due to wear.
