The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal received a reply from the chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Affairs Hanna Hopko about the results of the consedration of the bill "On Amendments to Art. 380 of the Customs Code of Ukraine (concerning the creation of favorable conditions for the use of cars with foreign registration)."
The bill proposes to significantly increase the maximum term of stay for cars with foreign registration, which is now 5 days.
Most members of the Committee supported the bill, which was reported to the Committee on Tax and Customs Policy which is the main one in consideration of this document.
In early April, H. Moskal sent an appeal to six committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a request to urgently consider the bill on border crossing. At present, the document has been considered by three committees, two of which gave a negative opinion. The Committee on European Integration, the Committee on Preventing and Combating Corruption and the Committee on Tax and Customs Policy, have not yet been provided their opinions. H. Moskal sent their chairpersons repeated letters asking not to delay the consideration of the bill because delays in addressing the issues raised in it cause social tension in Transcarpathia.
