Parent communities are being established in Mukachevo

This was decided at the Center for Public and National Cultures, where a round table discussion on the issue of fatherhood and motherhood, preservation of a happy family was held in March, the Mukachevo City Council notes. 
The number of divorces in Ukraine has been increasing, 65% of them occur in the first 5 years of married life. 95% of parents after divorce believe that the payment of alimony is enough for their children to be happy. The number of single-parent families where mothers raise their children is increasing. One in 3 children is not raised by the biological father, and half of the children grow up without a father at all. 
In Mukachevo, 4,838,000 families receive social benefits for their children. Civic activists and volunteers set out to overcome the family crisis. Within the framework of the program "Development of Men’s Potential for Responsible Parenthood" they plan to implement a number of measures, including opening a school of fatherhood, motherhood and married life in Mukachevo, establishing parental communities.
According to experts, the state should support working families, not those who lead an antisocial lifestyle. The key to a happy family is the fostering of moral values ​​and parental responsibility.
