From 24 to 30 of May, Mukachevo will be hosting known domestic theater groups that will participate in the traditional International Festival "Ethno-Dia-Sphere".
This year, it will be the 16th festival of ethnic theaters of national minorities of Ukraine, CIS countries and the Carpathian Euroregion.
During the theater festival, 7 companies from Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Drohobych, Kolomyia, Uzhgorod and Mukachevo will present their productions.
During the four days of the festival, the visitors will have the opportunity to see performances in various genres: drama and melodrama, tragicomedy, comedy, vaudeville. Khmelnitsky Jewish theater "Without Makeup" will bring to Mukachevo "a sort of comedy" (the play "Difficult people").
The festival will be opened by the troupe of the National Academic Theatre of Russian Drama with the play "Last Love".
The purpose of the festival "Ethno-Dia-Sphere" is the revival and promotion of ethnic theater art, increase of credibility and promotion of cultural development of national minorities in Ukraine, the Department of Culture of the RSA informed.
