“PAP-JAZZ-FEST” will take place in Transcarpathia (Announcement)

On Thursday, December 20, at 18:00, the 21st International Roma Festival of Jazz Art "PAP-JAZZ-FEST-2018" will take place in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN".
The organizers of the concert action are the Society of Musical Culture of Transcarpathian Roma "Lautari" and the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN".
Such famous foreign and local musicians as saxophonists Peter Kardarelli, Eric Mariental and Monty Waters, trumpeter Michael "Patches" Stewart, guitarist Mark Whitfield (all from the USA), saxophonist Edward Namislowski (Poland), drummer Dodo Sosoka (Slovakia), guitarists Tibi Botosh and Oli Kerekesh (Hungary), legends of Soviet jazz Yevgeny Dergunov, Valery Kolesnikov, Vyacheslav Polyansky, Volodymyr Solyanik (Ukraine) and many others have performed at the festival over the years. The permanent member of the organizing committee and host of all the festivals "PAP-JAZZ-FEST" is the well-known music critic from Kyiv Petro Poltaryev.
This year, "PAP-JAZZ-FEST" will be held with the support of the Department of Culture and the Department of Nationalities and Religions of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Uzhgorod City Council, the International Foundation Renaissance, individual sponsors.
