Uzhgorod continues to lose its unique historical face. The replacement of authentic windows on the house at Tolstoy st., 3 was reported by Tetyana Literati.
"Unfortunately, my participation in the Advisory Council on the Protection of Cultural Heritage at the RSA so far has brought only disappointments. It turned out that while people look you in the eyes and promise to preserve the windows, in fact they do not care about your opinion and tomorrow they will do as they want. We have to "thank" for the destruction of the house on Tolstoy st., 3 the architect Maria Bobryk and, of course, the owner of the building."
Recall that on April 16, at the meeting of the Advisory Council on the Protection of Cultural Heritage at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, they decided that all details of the facade of this building must be preserved.
