Owners of cars with foreign registration blocked the checkpoint “Uzhgorod”, border guards suggest other ways to cross the border (PHOTOS)

At the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", a representative of the customs office talked to owners of cars with foreign registration and journalists, the "Holos Karpat" reports.

He said that currently the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" is blocked. Slovak colleagues also redirect their citizens to other crossing points.

As for blocking of the road, currently nothing has changed. The police called a tow truck, but due to obstruction, it could not tow the "broken" car.

There is the information that the checkpoint "Solotvyno" on the Ukrainian-Romanian border is blocked.

The State Border Guard Service recommends citizens when planning trips with border crossing to use other checkpoints:

"Mali Selmentsi" (pedestrian and bicycle) – from 9:00 to 21:00;

"Maly Berezny" (car, pedestrian and bicycle) – around the clock;

"Chop (Strazh)" (railway) – around the clock, according to the schedule of trains.

"Dyakove" (car) – around the clock.
