Overview of the hydrological situation on the rivers

Yesterday, there were rains in the region, in some places heavy rains of 7 – 35 mm.

  On most rivers, water levels increased by 0.5 – 1.2 m within the original banks, in the lower reaches of the Stara river and Borzhava river – by 2.1 – 2.4 m respectively. The maximum levels in the rivers were reached in the second half of the night and in the morning. Cloudy weather is expected throughout the day, with occasional drizzle in the mountains, and on most rivers water levels will decrease. A low flood wave will advance to the lower reaches of the streams and along the Tisa with an increase of the levels by 0.3 – 1.2 m above the level as of 8.00 am 29.11, within the original banks.
