On Thursday, June 25, a big road accident occurred on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Serednye, Uzhgorod district, Transcarpathian region. A minibus Uzhgorod-Khust overturned on the road, the Uzhgorod city website reported.
According to the Transcarpathian National Police, one woman died at the scene as a result of the accident. Five passengers and the driver were hospitalized.
The victims have injuries of varying severity: there is an amputation of the left ear, a fracture of the clavicle. Two have craniocerebral injuries, they are now in serious condition.
The previous version of the cause of the accident is that the wheel of the minibus broke and the driver lost control, so the minibus overturned upside down.
The police said that the driver would be interrogated after receiving medical treatment.
According to TSN, eyewitnesses posted a video of the accident on the Internet.
