Over the weekend, two families got poisoned by carbon monoxide, two people died, children are in intensive care

On January 8, 2 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning occured.

In the village of Sasovo in Vynogradiv district, corpses of a 42-year-old man and his 43-year-old wife were found in a house. Their children (girls aged 8 and 11) survived and are in intensive care. 

The preliminary cause of death is carbon monoxide poisoning due to a malfunction of the gas boiler flue.

On the same day, an ambulance delivered to Irshava district hospital a couple aged 40 and 33 years and their 3 children (10, 8 and 4 year old) from the village of Zahattia.

They were diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning, their lives are not in danger.
