The first report of fire was received by the rescue service 02:16 on February 24. On the road Kyiv-Chop, near the city of Mukachevo a truck "Mercedes" made in 2008 caught fire.
The fire was eliminated by two crews of firefighters of the 17th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Mukachevo. Before their arrival, the fire had damaged the engine compartment of the vehicle.
No one was killed or injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The next day, at 01:59, a report came from the village of Ilnytsia in Irshava district. The fire started in two crawler excavators New Holland E215 and JCB JS330 LC belonging to one of the limited liability companies in the city of Irshava.
Firefighters of the 5th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Irshava were sent to eliminate the fire. In total, two pieces of equipment and 8 personnel members were engaged. At 02:45, the fire was contained, at 03:15 – completely eliminated.
The cause of the fire is to be established by the investigation. The fire destroyed the engine compartments and cabins of the both vehicles.
At 11:33, a fire was reported in the city of Mukachevo, on Tolstoy street. The fire started in a Volkswagen Passat B2 made in 1986. Due to late report, the vehicle could not be saved. Upon the arrival of firefighters of the 17th state fire and rescue unit, the car was completely engulfed by fire. At 12:01, the fire was eliminated. The cause of the fire and the material damage caused are being established.
