According to the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology, in connection with a south-western cyclone, during the day of February 3, the weather throughout the region is expected to deteriorate: heavy, sometimes very heavy rain, in the mountains – wet snow, in high mountains – snow.
In the evening of 3rd and 4th of February, the precipitation will turn into heavy wet snow and snow; in mountainous regions – snowstorms, on the roads of most of the territory there will be sleet.
On February 4, there will be ice, slush build-up, complex deposits. In some places, strengthening of the wind up to 17-22 m / s, on the highlands – up to 25-30 m / s is expected.
On February 3-4, rise of water levels (above the levels of 01.02, 08.00) is expected in the rivers of the region:
– on most rivers, by 0.5-1.5 m;
– in the middle and lower reaches of the Uzh, Latorytsya, Stara and Borzhava rivers, by 1.0-2.0 m, water can reach floodplain;
– in the lower reaches of the Borzhava – up to 2.5 m, the discharge of water onto the floodplain.
Due to heavy rains, significant local run-off will be formed. In connection with significant soil waterlogging, in some places there may be landslides.
