Over January, 11 children were not allowed to Europe

Border guards will occasionally ask anyone who crosses the border to fill in the questionnaire to find out if people are satisfied with their work. This was announced today, February 1st, during a press conference by the head of the border control department of the Chop border guard detachment Pavlo Schwartzman.

He also said that border guards will be meeting with reporters more often to keep the media informed of all the innovations that occur at the border.

Thus, Pavlo Schwartzman again reminded about the documents required for crossing the border with minors, because in January Chop border guards prevented 11 children, whose parents did not have authorization from the other parent, to go to Europe. 9 people in January were returned to Ukraine because they had outstanding credit obligations or debts to pay alimony. And 3 foreigners (from Israel, Africa and Asia) were arrested for having tried to leave the country with forged documents.

Also Pavlo Schwartzman reminded about the hotline ((044) 527-63-63), whereby you can provide information about the unsatisfactory behavior of border guards, for example, if they require bribes or behave rudely.
