As of January 1, 2014, 20037 entities and 67406 individual entrepreneurs are registered at the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region. As of January 1, 2013, there were 19565 registered entities and 67027 individual entrepreneurs.
The greatest number of taxpayers is registered at the STI in Uzhgorod – 18848 (including 5584 legal persons and 13264 physical persons).
As for payers of value added tax in the Transcarpathian region, their number at the beginning of this year amounted to 2,479 businesses and 595 individual entrepreneurs.
During January-December 2013, 22945 individuals, including 617 foreigners, applied to income and taxes authorities of Transcarpathian region for registration as natural person – taxpayer. The information on them was made into the State register of natural persons – taxpayers that contains general information about taxpayers.
Overall in the region, as of January 1 2014, 1,220,961 natural persons are registered in the State register of natural persons – taxpayers, which is 8,000 more than that on January 1, 2013.
