Over 14 thousand households in the region have already applied for subsidies for housing services under the simplified procedure

In April this year, about 7,500 households in the region received subsidies for housing and communal services. After the change in prices and tariffs for housing and communal services in April 1, 2015, as of June 1, 14,024 persons in the region have applied for subsidies under the simplified procedure. Of those, 4,599 families have received subsidies, the rest are still being processed.

As explained by the Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Anna Morozyuk, subsidies are appointed by social welfare department within 10 days after submission of the application and obtaining of the necessary information.

       "If the application is submitted in May – June, subsidies will be credited starting from April – Anna Morozyuk assured. – If a person has already paid for the service in full, and the subsidy is applied from April, respectively, these funds will be credited as a mandatory payment of the household in subsequent periods of services use."

As you know, to receive subsidies, one has to submit personal data and income statement. Applicants may be certain – social welfare authorities will ensure the protection of personal data, Anna Morozyuk said.
