“Our Taras” on the main stage of the region (Announcement)

These days, Ukraine honors the genius son of its people who became the spiritual father of the nation, a symbol of faith, truth and love of freedom. He wanted to live in his own country, loved it like his mother, and commanded us to do the same. On March 13th, the Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir will perform on the main stage of the region with the solo program "Our Taras". 

This concert program is named after the song-poem "Our Taras" written by Victor Telychko with lyrics by Vasyl Vovchok in 1994 for the anniversary of reburial of Taras Shevchenko. The artistic director of the choir – Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Natalia Petiy-Potapchuk. Choreographer – Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine Mykhailo Sachko. The head of the orchestra – Mykhailo Brovdi. Solos will be performed by People’s Artist of Ukraine Petro Matiy, Yana Sadvariy and others. Host – Natalia Delehan.
