Sports holiday for children from family type homes were organized in the region to the International Children’s Day. Families from all parts of Transcarpathia arrived in Mukachevo to ‘Veseli Starty’ (‘Funny starts’).
The parents with their pupils competed in the various relay races: ‘Swift the hoop’, ‘Jolly jumpers’, ‘Carry the ball’ and other. The first place won pupils from the family type home of Tomashuk family from Vynogradiv district, the second place Osypenko family from Uzhgorod, the third one Gorkavchuk’s family from Mukachevo.
The analogues competitions were held in Uzhgorod last year, but this time everything was much better, because the pedestrian area suits the most for such measures, as the Regional State Administration Deputy Chairman Ivan Kachur pointed out. However, they were not very lucky with the weather, it’s started to rain. They had to reduce the competition program and hold the award ceremony earlier. It should be noted that the concerts and ice cream holiday are planned to be conducted till the late evening.
